Plaintiffs instituted this action in the circuit court for the county of Alpena to recover money damages for the alleged taking of aviation easements by the county. Plaintiffs are 18 property owners owning homes immediately adjacent to the southern approach to the north-south runway of the defendant county-owned Phelps Collins Airport.
