One was based upon his contention that the municipal-county court of the City of Greensboro had no jurisdiction to render a verdict of guilty of a misdemeanor in that the only process it had before it charged a felony, and the guilty plea did not remove the requirement that a bill of indictment is necessary to be returned by the grand jury.
