This case is before the court on a petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C.A. § 2254. Petitioner is a patient at the Colorado State Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado. He was committed to that institution on May 4, 1961, following a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity to six counts of burglary, conspiracy, larceny and receiving stolen goods, and a jury finding that petitioner...
