Plaintiff, wife of the decedent, brought suit under Michigan's wrongful death act to recover damages resulting from the death of her husband. The defendants are co-owners of a restaurant and motel in St. Clair, Michigan. The decedent drowned in defendants' swimming pool while he and his family were guests at the defendants' motel.
