In this case, defendant, George Zankl (George), has been convicted of violation of section 654 of The Penal Code of June 24, 1939, P. L. 872, 18 PS § 4654. This section makes it a crime to discriminate on account of race, creed, or color. Defendant, Antonia Zankl (Antonia), has been convicted of simple assault and battery on two counts.
