Allied Chemical Corporation and its liability insurer, The Travelers Insurance Company, appeal the judgment of the trial court awarding plaintiff, Emanuel J. Langlois, a fireman employed by the City of Baton Rouge, damages for personal injuries sustained by inhalation of gas that escaped from Allied's plant in Baton Rouge.
