The defendant was convicted of the crime of perjury in violation of § 53-143 of the General Statutes. He was arrested under a bench warrant issued by a judge of the Superior Court upon an original information and affidavit filed by the state's attorney. The judgment recites the entry of a not guilty plea on July 12, 1966. Prior to pleading to the information, the defendant filed a motion to quash or dismiss...
