This is an action in conversion against the defendant, United National Bank of Vermillion, and two of its officers, Larry Ticknor and James Anderson. The plaintiff, Bessie Christiansen, brought this suit to recover $10,000.00 retained by the defendant bank from the proceeds of a voluntary sale of the family homestead.
