This is an appeal from a judgment on a jury's verdict in the amount of $2,000 and costs for Blanche Wright, plaintiff, in a suit for damages for an alleged false arrest for receiving stolen property of the value of $50. Motions for a new trial and for judgment non obstante veredicto were denied. On August 13, 1957, plaintiff, at the suggestion of one Ella Scrutchings, came to the defendant to purchase a fur coat...
