Albert Kenneth Bankston has appealed from the district court's denial, without an evidentiary hearing, of his motion to vacate his judgment of conviction and sentence.1 We affirm.

The appellant is attacking his conviction and sentence for armed bank robbery, a violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2113(d). He was convicted upon trial by jury; and the judgment was affirmed on direct
