Appellant, Earl Alfonso Johnson, was tried on March 12, 1969 in the Circuit Court for Prince George's County by a jury, Judge Samuel W.H. Meloy presiding, for robbery with a dangerous and deadly weapon and related offenses. The jury found appellant guilty of armed robbery and he was sentenced to twenty years under the supervision of the Department of Correctional Services...
