William Donovan Jackson was convicted on pleas of guilty to two indictments charging first degree murder and sentenced to two concurrent terms of fifty years each in the Virginia penitentiary. Contending that his guilty pleas were the result of a coerced confession and incompetent advice of counsel, Jackson appeals the denial of his petition for a writ of habeas corpus.
