This is an appeal from an order granting the motion of the State to dismiss Louis French's amended petition under the Illinois Post-Conviction Hearing Act.

The appellant, Louis French, was found guilty of armed robbery by a jury verdict on May 27, 1965, in the circuit court of Du Page County, and was sentenced to a term of not less than 5 nor more than 15 years in the Illinois...
