Drummond and Riley were convicted of robbery. On this direct appeal they contend that their Sixth Amendment right to be confronted with the witnesses against them was violated when the trial court allowed the State to offer in evidence, over appropriate objection, the testimony of the robbery victim given at the preliminary examination.
