On March 4, 1966, the Gillette drugstore of plaintiff-Murphy was destroyed by fire, occasioned when he attempted to light a water heater in the basement. He and his two insurers sued Petrolane-Wyoming Gas Service, distributor, and McCulloch Gas Transmission Company, the one furnishing gas to the distributor, for $115,000 damages,1 alleging, inter alia, express and implied warranty...
