The issue in this case is whether one who murders his parent can inherit from the estate of his victim, and, further, the legal effect upon the right of the slayer's heirs to inherit. Appellant's brother, Leslie A. Wright, was convicted in 1954 of first degree murder in the killing of his mother and sentenced to life imprisonment.
