In a multiple count indictment, Frank Robert Hamlin was charged with using the mails to further and carry out a scheme and artifice to defraud in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1341 and use of a fictitious name in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1342.1 He was found guilty of the offense alleged in Count I and has appealed from the judgment of conviction.
