This is a suit in trespass to try title filed by the appellee Walter G. Russell against Pioneer Natural Gas Company. Walter Russell alleged that the construction by Pioneer Natural Gas of a pipe line across his property was not authorized and thus constituted a trespass. Pioneer Natural Gas answered "not guilty" on the grounds that it was the holder of an easement that authorized Pioneer to lay additional pipe lines and that Russell was estopped to deny...
