THOMPSON, Justice.

This case comes to us on appeal from a summary judgment for United Mortgage in an action for damages commenced by Kaye. The issue presented is whether a redeeming grantee of a judgment debtor's statutory right of redemption takes the property free from the judgment lien under which the property was sold. The district court ruled that the property continued to be subject to the judgment lien. For reasons hereafter expressed we reverse...
