Plaintiff brings this appeal from the order of the district court denying plaintiff's motion to reinstate his action against defendant. On January 20, 1969, plaintiff, by his attorney, A. A. Browne, filed a complaint in the district court charging defendant, a Chicago policeman, with violation of his civil rights under 42 U.S.C. §§ 1983 and 1988.
