Ben Adams sustained an injury to his back on June 4, 1965, in the course of his employment by the Department of Economic Security in the "Happy Pappy" program. His claim for workmen's compensation disability benefits resulted in an award finding him 40% permanently disabled and apportioning 25% against the Special Fund and 15% against the employer.
