This action involves an attempt by a group of students at Radford College, a state institution, to gain recognition as a campus chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union of Virginia, Inc. The Radford College Senate has denied such recognition and the plaintiffs have brought this suit alleging deprivation of rights under the first and fourteenth amendments and praying for declaratory and injunctive relief.
