This is a condemnation proceeding in which the state acquired 11.02 acres of land belonging to appellees. This was necessary for the construction of a controlled access highway which bisects appellees' 137.5 acre tract of land. The landowners estimated their damages at $45,000 ($75,000 value before the taking and $30,000 after).
