This is a possessory action in which the plaintiffs, Anthony Voisin, et al., (hereinafter sometimes referred to as Voisins) alleged that they were disturbed in their possession of certain property situated in the Parish of Terrebonne, Louisiana, and that the defendants, Whitney Luke, et al, (hereinafter sometimes referred to as the Lukes) slandered plaintiffs' title by the execution of an oil, gas and mineral lease covering the subject property....
