OPINION

ELKINGTON, J.

Respondent Eddie L. Thompson, Sr., suffered an industrial injury while employed as a state disaster service worker. Respondent Workmen's Compensation Appeals Board (Appeals Board) rated him as having suffered permanent disability of 58 percent. The Appeals Board made a total award of $16,240 and ordered that it be paid at the rate of $70 per week for 232 weeks.
