Appellants here are Alan and Margaret McSurely and four organizations.1 The McSurelys, interposing several claims under the First and Fourth Amendments, refused in March of 1969 to comply with a subpoena duces tecum issued by a Senate subcommittee2 which demanded the production of documents relating to membership in, and activities of, several organizations including those parties...
