This suit was instituted by plaintiff K. K. Parsons who claimed money due and owing on a sale of horses to defendants Lorne Knisley and Vera Knisley.

The complaint alleged that an oral contract had been entered into for the sale of seven horses, including a stallion, Rio Dinero, at an agreed purchase price of $18,100.
