GABBERT, J.

In an information filed in the County of Orange, appellant was charged with the crime of murder, Penal Code, section 187. The public defender was appointed to represent appellant, and pleas of not guilty and not guilty by reason of insanity were entered. A jury trial was set. Appellant then moved for dismissal of the prosecution, which motion was denied. Appellant withdrew his pleas of not guilty and not guilty...
