In this criminal action the defendant entered a plea of guilty to the crime charged in the information, assaulting and resisting a law enforcement officer in violation of section 28-729.01, R.S.Supp., 1967. He was sentenced by the district court for Lancaster County, Nebraska, to be confined in the Nebraska Penal and Correctional Complex for a period of 1 year.
