STEINFELD, Judge.

Appellant, Finis Carnes, was convicted by a jury of voluntary manslaughter and sentenced to the maximum of 21 years. From a judgment entered pursuant to that verdict, he appeals and we reverse.

Mr. Carnes and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Williams were neighbors living in a mobile home park. On the evening of July 12, 1968, appellant received a telephone call from Mrs. Williams requesting that he drive from Lexington to Frenchburg and bring her back...
