In August, 1967, a Cook County circuit court jury found Robert T. Keys guilty of murder, and a sentence of 14 to 20 years imprisonment was imposed. Defendant's pro se petition for post-conviction relief was dismissed on the State's motion in December, 1968, and defendant appeals that dismissal. Keys contends that he was improperly denied counsel other than the public...
