On December 16, 1965, plaintiff was a passenger in an automobile operated by her husband and insured by defendant which collided in the state of Illinois with another automobile which was insured by the St. Lawrence Insurance Company. On January 13, 1967, the St. Lawrence Insurance Company was placed into receivership by the state of Illinois. The receiver of said company has neither acknowledged nor honored plaintiff's claim.
