By definition, an insolvent economic unit cannot satisfy all its creditors and, therefore, a business disaster commonly inspires vigorous efforts on the part of creditors to maneuver into a favorable position vis-a-vis the remaining assets. From a creditor's standpoint, the only event more dolorous than being relegated to the glutted and clamorous pool of unsecured claimants is being required to return property received from the sagging debtor...
