Appellant was charged in the Monroe Superior Court with the crimes of inflicting physical injury in the perpetration of a robbery, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony. Trial by jury resulted in a verdict of guilty of the charge of inflicting an injury in the perpetration of a robbery. Appellant was sentenced to the Indiana State Prison for life.
