The City of Abilene brought this eminent domain proceeding against W. H. Blackburn, Jr., and others to acquire certain property belonging to the defendants for the purpose of expanding the Abilene municipal airport. The case was tried before a jury which found that on June 26, 1968, the time at which the 35.34 acres of land was taken by the City for the enlarging and improvement of its airport, the property including improvements had a market value...
