The appellant was indicted, along with a co-defendant, for the crime of murder in the first degree. At his arraignment, he entered his plea of not guilty. The motions for severance filed by the attorneys for both co-defendants were respectively denied, and jury trial began in the Circuit Court of Dade County on March 4, 1968.
