Plaintiff, Charles W. Lyman, Jr., seeks to recover $500.00 from defendant, Francis E. Richard, that being the amount which defendant allegedly contracted to pay plaintiff for making a land survey. Judgment on the merits was rendered by the trial court condemning defendants to pay plaintiff the sum of $300.00.
