This was an action for damages because of personal injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Plaintiff appealed from a judgment entered on a verdict for defendant.

Plaintiff was a passenger in an automobile being driven by her husband in a westerly direction on Highway 20 between the cities of Corvallis and Newport. Defendant was the operator of a truck and trailer loaded with peeler cores which was being operated in the same direction...
