This case, which here comes to an end in the spring of 1969, had its beginning in November 1962 when Elkton Trucking Company, Inc., an interstate motor carrier serving Maryland communities, applied to the Public Service Commission of Maryland for the right of intrastate carriage along its interstate routes.
