Laverne Deshazer, the plaintiff-appellant and cross-respondent was employed as an irrigator and cattle feeder by Rusty Tompkins and Homer Rhett (defendants-respondents, and cross-appellants) on their ranch about half-way between Riggins and Whitebird, Idaho.
