OPINION

SKELTON, Judge.

This is a suit brought by the executors of the estate of Walter N. Rothschild, deceased, for the recovery of income taxes paid as the result of deficiency assessments involving the years 1955 and 1956, made by the Commissioner of Internal Revenue.* The dispute arose out of a series of transactions in which the taxpayer, Walter N. Rothschild (now deceased)
