Geraldo Garcia, defendant-appellee, parked his car in front of an HEB grocery store in Robstown and turned off the car motor. When he attempted to leave, the starter would not work. He went to the front of the car, raised the hood and either struck the starter with a screwdriver or used the screwdriver to make some connection between the starter and part of the electrical system.
