This is an action by Stephen F. Krantz to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by him in an accident at the defendant's automobile repair shop in Omaha, Nebraska.

On January 4, 1965, the plaintiff, who is a used car dealer, brought an automobile to the defendant's shop to have its exhaust system repaired. The automobile was placed on a lift or hoist and raised so that the exhaust system...
