Memorandum Findings of Fact and Opinion

DAWSON, Judge:

Respondent determined deficiencies of $2,874.87 and $2,179.10 in petitioner's Federal income taxes for the years 1964 and 1965, respectively.

The only issue for decision is whether petitioner, a civil service employee of the Navy Department, may exclude from gross income compensation received while employed in Vietnam.
