KERN, Associate Judge:

This is an appeal from convictions for petit larceny. Appellants contend that there was not sufficient evidence to support their convictions and that they were denied effective assistance of counsel by the trial court's failure to advise them of their right to have separate counsel at trial. They were represented at trial by a retained attorney. We affirm.
