This is a suit for damages for an alleged wrongful death which occurred when the decedent, a pedestrian, was struck by a pickup truck while he was crossing a highway. Plaintiffs are the widow and the two major children of the decedent. Defendants are the driver of the truck, his employer and the latter's public liability insurance carrier.
