The plaintiff, Edward E. Duke, brought this action against Tidewater Construction Corporation, Raymond International, Inc., and Peter Kiewit Sons' Co., joint venturers trading as Tidewater-Raymond-Kiewit, defendants, for damages for injuries received while aboard a barge owned by the defendants, by whom he was then employed. On trial to a jury he recovered a verdict for $95,000.00, on which the court entered judgment and defendants were granted...
