Petitioner Dominick Angel Bretti was found guilty in the Criminal Court of Record for Dade County of the crime of robbery and sentenced to serve a term of fifteen years. He appealed to the District Court of Appeal, Third District, and was released on a $40,000 supersedeas bond.
