This is a workmen's compensation case. The primary issue presented on the appeal is whether the defendant was an employer of "farm or ranch laborers" within the provisions of section 48-106, R.R.S.1943, and therefore exempt from liability under the provisions of the Nebraska Workmen's Compensation Act.
