Plaintiff, Mary O. Niles, instituted this suit to recover benefits alleged to be due her under a hospitalization insurance policy issued by defendant, American Bankers Insurance Company. She also claims penalties and attorney's fees. Judgment was rendered by the trial court in favor of plaintiff, awarding her $208.35 as policy benefits, plus $208.35 as penalties, and $300.00 as attorney's fees.
